I'm no expert on city building codes, but I agree with whomever okayed the zoning in North Miami Beach so that a porn shop can be built next to a waffle place. There's a brilliance behind such planning, I'm sure nothing gets people hungrier for waffles then a hard day's perusing of the aisles of a porn shop. Across the street was a curious "Oriental Massage" shop with blacked out windows. That can only mean good, wholesome things lie behind the blinking Open sign.

Porn and Waffle Shops

Oleta Today
Heading out to NMB for some riding, (hopefully) good food, and some more riding. Should be better than last time considering my bike can now climb good and proper and I've made some other considerations to further my riding enjoyment. Hopefully, Mike won't take another 10 foot fall, mangrove roots aren't that comfortable of a landing pad.

I Have An Issue
With the Tivo remote. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic piece of equipment, ergonomic, smooth and relatively intuitive. My qualm is with these two buttons near the top of the remote. One's green with a "thumbs up" and the other's red with a "thumbs down". Apparently these buttons are used to pass judgement on the programs one watches and likes and I suppose the programs you watch and don't particularly like (why you would take the time to do this I don't know). Not only can you "like"and "dislike" programs, you can do so up to 3 times for each one, you know, just in case you forget how much you really like this certain show, or perhaps how much you really, really, really dislike it. It's really quite a silly thing but it has become an interfamily battle of the "likes" and "dislikes". My younger siblings will "like" crap shows like Johnny Test and Hannah Montana, and then either my sister or I will come along and neutralize their support with our triple thumbs down, which is impossible for any individual to do for hopefully obvious reasons. This is often what my early Saturday mornings consists of sadly, going through each channel making sure nothing I disapprove of is liked, because god forbid I have a guest watch TV and pass judgment on my own personal tastes based on false two thumbs up for "Daisy of Love".
This Was...
...supposed to have some sort of theme, but I find it so much easier to muse. As with everything else I'll just make it up as I go along.
